Emerald Innovations seeks a full time Principal Software Engineer at our offices located at 1 Broadway, 14th Floor, Cambridge, MA 02142.
Design, develop, optimize, implement, test, and deploy software applications at Emerald Innovations. Specific duties include the following:
- Design and develop distributed computer systems for collecting and processing data.
- Design and develop write software implementing distributed systems;
- Design and develop machine learning and signal processing algorithms for interpreting radio-frequency signals and from them deriving biometric signals.
- Implement machine learning algorithms in software applications and enhance the applications’ efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop regression tests for software, including unit tests and system tests.
- Conduct reviews of other employees' software contributions.
- Analyze data collected by wireless sensing devices from subjects participating in clinical drug trials, medical studies, and other trials.
- Design web-based interfaces for viewing raw and processed data.
Position requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a focus on algorithms and machine learning along with six months of experience in computer vision and machine learning. Experience required may be gained prior, during, or subsequent to Master’s Degree.
Remote work from anywhere in the continental U.S. is permitted.
